Consultations prior to your event
DJ DICE works with you in advance of your event to: | Discuss the type of atmosphere you're trying to create |
| Create an itinerary for the event |
| Determine the styles of music that are most appropriate and obtain a request list from you |
| DJ DICE will also make prior contact with the facility coordinator for logistical purposes |
Day of the event
For the most part, your "work" as bride and groom should be complete. Your focus should be on enjoying your day, mingling with your guests and having as much fun as you possibly can. To comfortably do this, you must turn over the coordination and other responsibilities to the professionals you've hired. On the day of your event you can expect DJ DICE to:
| Arrive 1.5 - 2 hours prior to your event's scheduled start time to set up and perform a sound check. | ||||
| DJ DICE uses top-of-the-line sound reinforcement. | ||||
| Be appropriately dressed and have appropriate music playing prior to the scheduled start time | ||||
| Unless otherwise instructed, DJ DICE will facilitate your event.
This means he:

| Guests are kept informed of events through periodic announcements | ||||
| DJ DICE takes requests from you and your guests and will play those that are available and appropriate. | ||||
| DJ DICE rotates through a wide variety of dance music in an effort to be inclusive of the different ages and tastes of you and your guests. He closely monitors dance floor response to the different styles of music and will repeat the styles of music with the best dance floor response. From a DJ's perspective, a full dance floor is the best indicator of success! | ||||
| Generally, DJ DICE will be available to extend the "end time" of the contract. If your party is rockin' and you don't want it to stop, let DJ DICE know. Additional time is charged at $40.00 per half hour. | ||||
| Break down and removal of equipment generally takes 1 hour |
